Takeoff with your next opportunity  

As Attraction & Onboarding Programs Specialist, you will play an integral role in supporting our corporate and operational teams across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.  Reporting directly to our Attraction & Onboarding Programs Lead, you'll have the opportunity to dip your toes into all things people-related including recruitment, onboarding and induction, with the aim to create an engaging experience for those commencing their journey with the Jetstar Team.  You’ll leverage your passion for stakeholder management, along with your exceptional organisational and administrative skills to maintain and improve an efficient and engaging process.  

Your new areas of focus

  • Partnering closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class recruitment process across Jetstar’s Engineering portfolio
  • Supporting the delivery of Jetstar’s induction programs for our new team members, including face to face workshops and airport tours
  • Working with our medical and security teams to ensure an efficient onboarding process for our operational team members
  • Stakeholder manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders, problem solving as needed and acting quickly to ensure that critical onboarding timelines are met  
  • Overseeing key onboarding activities, including follow up to new starters as required and escalating as needed

We’re searching for someone who:

  • Has exposure to end to end recruitment, ideally within a complex operational environment
  • Brings superior administrative and organisational skills – confidence to independently oversee the onboarding experience for a large volume of new hires, including interaction with candidates and maintenance of excel spreadsheets  
  • Has exposure to facilitation or genuine interest in developing strength in facilitation of initiatives such as induction programs   
  • Is a true team player – flexible and agile in mindset and willing to jump in and help their teammates during peak periods of activity across the broader team 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Business, Human Resources or related field will hold you in high regard
