Your life at Jetstar is unlike any other

Your Flight Path, Your Future

Jetstar New Zealand operates from two narrow-body bases — Auckland and Christchurch — offering pilots the chance to build a meaningful career while enjoying the lifestyle and landscapes unique to Aotearoa. Rosters typically include 2 to 4 sector days, with a mix of day returns and overnights to keep things varied. Our bid system allows you to nominate preferred roster patterns, which are considered as part of the broader planning process alongside operational requirements.

Please note: While this listing appears under Auckland due to system constraints, your actual base assignment will be confirmed at the time of offer and will reflect operational needs.

Training that prepares you for the real world

Our Evidence Based Training (EBT) program goes beyond compliance — with scenario-based learning designed to sharpen your decision-making and keep your skills current in a dynamic flying environment.

Modern fleet, meaningful flying

Operate new-generation aircraft across a growing network — with the range, reliability, and tech to support your ambitions. Our A321neo LRs and upcoming XLRs are expanding route possibilities while improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions.

Takeoff with purpose

Whether you're building hours or stepping into leadership, Jetstar offers meaningful flying, real progression, and a crew that supports your growth.

Crew culture that counts

We fly as one team — backing each other in the air and on the ground, and taking pride in delivering safe, consistent operations every day. It’s a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your contribution matters. As part of the Qantas Group, our pilots are empowered to lead, innovate, and help shape positive change — not just in the flight deck, but across the broader aviation landscape.

Fly with the Group

As part of the Qantas Group, you’ll have access to broader opportunities across airlines, locations, and functions — your career can take off in more ways than one.

We’re keeping the door open. There’s no set closing date for this EOI, so submit your interest when it works for you — we’d love to hear from you.
