We rely on our engineers to deliver our superior safety standards, up to the second. They’re the trouble-shooters, glitch-fixers and tech-experts who make sure we take to the sky safely. As part of our investment in our future, we launched the Melbourne Engineering Precinct, which is the main maintenance hub of our network, and proud home of our Engineering Apprentice Program.
Our engineers are uniquely placed to enjoy a career that sees them developing skills across all functional areas of maintenance – line, intermediate and base activity. You'll also have the opportunity to work beyond the Jetstar fleet, on A320/21s, B787s and A320 Freighters.
Applications for our 2026 Engineering Apprentice Program, commencing in Melbourne and Sydney in January 2026, are now open - apply here by Sunday 6 July.
