Job Description

As a Ground Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering training modules for our Cabin Crew and Pilots, ensuring alignment with Jetstar’s ever-changing requirements. With Positions available across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, you will be responsible for the development and deliverance of Aircrew Safety and Emergency procedures, Dangerous Goods, First Aid and secondary skills training programs, both practical and theoretical components. Alongside this, you will be responsible for ensuring course materials are compliant with company procedures and relevant legislation.

To be considered for this role, key skills will include:

  • Minimum 12 months, recent experience, as cabin crew

  • Ability to achieve a Regulatory Approval in order to conduct emergency procedures training and assessment

  • Proven experience in computer-based training (CBT), facilitation, classroom training for adults and working knowledge of adult learning principles is highly preferable

  • Ability to manage a busy workload, diverse portfolios, conflict resolution and relationship building with other departments

  • Excellent computer and administrative skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels

  • Proven ability to work in a team

  • Able to travel both domestically and internationally up to 3-4 weeks at a time

  • Excellent health and fitness, including the ability to swim and tread water
