As the Receipt Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of all technical maintenance data for Class I, II & III controlled parts are recorded in the Maintenance Information System - TRAX in accordance with CASA CASR 42 Regulations.  The role will interface closely with the Technical Specialists, Configuration Control, Stores and Data Integrity team, providing support and assistance where required.

As the Receipt Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Verify component part numbers and serial numbers and review associated documentation to ensure regulatory compliance with CASA regulations (CASR Part 42), applicable manufacturer data, and company procedures.
  • Perform inspection and record compliance to any applicable embodied engineering controls (EC) i.e., VSB’s & AD’s. Resets applicable part control in Maintenance Information System (MIS), TRAX.
  • Review and validate all component documentation including Authorised Release Certificates (ARC), work reports, and regulatory directives (VSBs, ADs).
  • Execute Receipt Compliance transactions and reset part control statuses accurately in MIS, TRAX within agreed KPI timeframes.
  • Segregate and document non-compliant or suspect parts; initiate discrepancy reports as require.
  • Liaise with Technical Services and Supply Chain to resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen regulatory compliance and quality assurance across receipt and stores functions.
  • Coordinate closely with Stores and Logistics teams to proactively manage safety and quality control issues within the Central Distribution Centre (CDC).

We’re on the hunt for someone who:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aerospace, or a related discipline (highly regarded).
  • Recognised Aircraft Trade qualification.
  • Proficiency with TRAX or equivalent MIS (highly desirable).
  • In-depth knowledge of CASR Part 42 and related civil aviation compliance requirements.
  • Strong technical data interpretation skills and high attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
