Job Description

Jetstar Digital’s technology strategy is important to our success; with the right technology we can be responsive to customer needs and improve the employee experience by making it easier for our teams to do their jobs. A key element of this strategy is the Club Jetstar Membership Platform; we are migrating our membership solution to open up additional opportunities for engaging our most valued customers.

This multi-year program of work is a priority for Jetstar in FY24/25 and the first phase will be delivered in November-24. Given the complexity of this program we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work within the project team to deliver Phase 2. The Business Analyst will join the current program team to capture requirements and communicate these to multiple delivery teams to ensure that the deliverables for Phase 2 will meet the business need for the new Club Jetstar platform. They will work closely with the Project Manager and the Product Manager for Club Jetstar. 

The core responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Elicit, define and model requirements (business, functional and non-functional) and processes.
  • Communicate processes and requirements to various delivery teams, ensuring that solutions delivered by them are aligned and meet project objectives.
  • Engage a range of stakeholders from across Jetstar, facilitate elicitation sessions (workshops, interviews, observation, etc.) to gain information, and achieve stakeholder buy-in on proposed solutions.
  • Define problems and undertake options analysis to support good project decisions.
  • Contribute to project change management activities.
  • Contribute to project testing activities (UAT).
  • Engage with the vendors who will deliver the successful platform migration and raise risks and issues if any to the project management team.
  • Assist the Project Manager to track and report on project progress - benefits/scope, schedule and budget.

To be considered, key skills will include: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis.  
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across varied stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in Navitaire's Airline Reservation System (New Skies), Salesforce, Braze, High Touch, change management and user acceptance testing will be beneficial.
