Following an internal promotion, we are seeking an AMO Systems Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in optimizing our maintenance operations by building robust workforce planning and time and attendance systems.

As an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), we are committed to delivering exceptional maintenance services while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. By leveraging your expertise in workforce planning and attendance management, you will help shape our systems to drive productivity, enhance resource utilization, and streamline our operations.

Our product, EmpLive is a complete, cloud-based workforce management software suite designed to simplify and automate an organisation's rostering, time and attendance, and award interpretation processes..  As Product Owner you will drive the vision and product roadmap in partnership with our engineering departments, drive maximum operational efficiency and commercial value, Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments. Working with multiple stakeholders across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the vision and Emplive product roadmap
  • Develop, scope, define and prioritise backlog items
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end experience, integration and dependencies
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyse the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Stakeholder engagement and working with key stakeholder groups across Jetstar airlines and regions
  • Assist as required with other engineering system improvements

Ready for your next adventure? We’re searching for someone who has:

  • 3-5 years experience developing, analysing and designing software and technology products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially working as a product owner
  • Scrum / Product owner certifications or similar highly regarded
  • Tertiary degree in a related field
  • Experience in aviation and / or travel related industry preferred but not essential
  • Strong product management, design and analysis understanding
  • Ability to work in a team environment and co-located offices
  • Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent team leading, motivational and mentoring skills
  • Excellent project management skills and a strong technical aptitude
  • Sound knowledge of interactive technologies and market trends.
  • Good understanding of Information Architecture and usability of the user experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development and digital solution design processes
  • Ability to contribute to strategic discussions
  • Proven ability to analyse and structure complex data and to develop meaningful reports and insights. Ability to drive process improvements and organisational change
