We are looking for a dynamic Commercial & Insights Manager to drive the commercial strategy and performance of our Flight Products portfolio. This role is a fantastic opportunity to drive growth by embedding best practices in data and insights, ensuring our products are sold and serviced in ways that maximise customer value and commercial outcomes. Accountable for the Flight Products P&L, you will lead a team of analysts and specialists, delivering actionable insights and performance tracking to optimise decision-making. Working cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Marketing, Digital, Revenue Management, Customer Care, and Operations, you will influence stakeholders to achieve in-year financial targets while supporting our long-term vision.

We are seeking a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and data expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You will develop and execute strategic roadmaps, oversee budget performance, and identify opportunities for product, pricing, and channel optimisation. Your leadership will ensure a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, with a focus on using data to enhance portfolio performance. The core responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Lead the strategic use of data and analytics to drive commercial outcomes and portfolio performance.
  • Accountable for Flight Products P&L, ensuring accurate forecasting, budget tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps to achieve commercial targets and long-term growth.
  • Oversee portfolio performance tracking, dashboards, and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for revenue growth, pricing optimisation, and process improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts and specialists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to drive business objectives.
  • Simplify complex data into actionable insights to influence decision-making and strategy.

To be considered, key skills will include: 

  •  4+ years’ experience in commercial or data/analyst roles with strong financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in data/analytical tools such as Power BI, Excel
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities across multiple regions.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex commercial environments and competing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while leading and mentoring a high-performing team.
  • Airline industry experience and knowledge of ancillary revenue drivers (preferred).

 

This role also requires our team members to be willing and able to travel internationally to perform audits with our suppliers across the globe.  In return, a flexible and hybrid working environment is on offer to the successful applicant.
