Our Airport Crew are the heartbeat of Jetstar. The friendly faces who greet customers on the ground, you’ll love creating memorable airport experiences. You’ll be equally committed to safety, making sure things run smoothly and on time. Based at domestic and international airports throughout the Jetstar network, our Airport Crew are the guardians of compliance, looking after policies and procedures like customer service standards and check-in – also Customs, Immigration and Quarantine rules.

As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll pass on the good vibes to our customers. You’ll love helping people – almost as much as you love travelling and working in a team.  As the first friendly face to greet our flyers, you’ll be making sure everyone is checked in, tackling all types of curly questions, supporting specific needs – even boarding flights. And you’ll always bring a sense of fun and energy as customers takeoff.

As a Cabin Baggage Officer, you’ll be a confident communicator who works with our team on the ground, making the boarding gates your new office.  There to educate our customers and help them get going, you’ll weigh and measure luggage, and charge fees for bags on the heavy side.  You’ll remain calm under pressure and bring your professional A-game to all interactions.  

You don’t need any aviation experience to apply. For us, travel and meeting new people go hand in hand – so we welcome applications from all walks of life and service backgrounds. 

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • An engaging, energetic and professional communicator
  • A customer service star with 1+ years’ experience
  • At least 18 years of age 
  • Able to work in Australia without restriction or sponsorship 
  • Happy with shift work and flexible hours on a rotating roster
  • Comfortable with processing payments and using computers
