At Jetstar, the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will primarily focus on the development, technical execution and optimisation of cross channel customer lifecycle programs (email, push app, etc.), and driving database engagement using segmentation, personalisation and customer analytics. You will be subject matter expert on the intricacies of how to turn use cases and strategic customer journey mapping into a tactical marketing campaigns. You will support the acquisition function across the regions with high technical and problem-solving capability.
This role has a global remit, spanning across Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
The core responsibilities of this role will be:
- Management of multi-million-dollar digital marketing programs across APAC including end to end management of campaigns (strategy, segmentation, technical execution, reporting and optimisation).
- Be the technical lead within the Digital Marketing Acquisition team.
- Working with the Digital Marketing Manager, Acquisition to ensure a seamless customer journey across multiple channels.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager, Technology and Digital team to support the building of the marketing technology solution (Braze) across the acquisition team.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Specialist to be the technical lead for Jetmail and mass market communications.
- To have a great attention to detail to ensure that the team is delivering high quality campaigns.
- To be a subject matter expert on personalisation and how to deliver personalisation on highly dynamic, multi-channel, multi-touch point campaigns.
- Understanding of data analytics, including the concept of data modelling and what it can deliver in terms of revenue and customer engagement to the program.
- To influence other departments, and team members across APAC on the revenue and customer benefits of campaign strategies within your remit.
- In conjunction with the Digital Analyst, measure and report on all campaigns with the goal of continuously improving strategy and revenue generation.
- Share and implement best practice learnings with stakeholders across the group.
To be considered, key skills will include:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or IT, particularly in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Information Systems or relevant field.
- 5+ years’ of experience working across marketing automation platforms such as Braze (prefered), Salesforce, Responsys.
- Understanding of technical languages including HTML, CSS, Liquid and SQL will be advantageous.
- Understanding of customer lifecycles and how to drive revenue from this using channels such as email,push, content cards, etc.
- Experience with reporting tools would be highly desirable (eg. PowerBI or Adobe Omniture).
- Passion for quality control and attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
