We're seeking a Manager, Australia Sales & Distribution who balances their strategic and commercial skills with a strong focus on quality outcomes for customers and  partners. In this key role, you’ll drive customer and revenue outcomes through indirect sales partners and channels, working to optimise our presence in the travel trade. You’ll be responsible for managing some of Jetstar’s largest travel agent commercial agreements—both directly and by leading a team of sales executives—to ensure alignment with our broader commercial goals.

Success will also rely on building on strong partner engagement and ensuring the travel agent community has a clear understanding of Jetstar’s products, services, and support channels. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring agents have seamless access to booking, servicing, and payment systems and are confident at selling and managing Jetstar bookings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven sales professional to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced and high-profile environment.

As Manager, Australia Sales & Distribution, your focus will include:

  • Drive fare and ancillary revenue growth through indirect sales partners, including OTAs, wholesalers, groups, and corporate agents
  • Managing sales planning cycles, channel optimisation, and tactical responses aligned with business objectives
  • Build product awareness and confidence within the travel agent community through regular engagement and education
  • Deliver sales and distribution projects on time and within budget, ensuring travel agent needs are met
  • Maintain strong relationships with key trade partners and represent Jetstar at industry and government events
  • Ensure achievement of revenue and customer satisfaction targets, including NPS improvement
  • Lead and support a high-performing sales team to meet targets and foster engagement
  • Share market intelligence and insights with Jetstar Group leadership to inform strategic decisions

About You

We’re searching for someone who:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant business or aviation discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in the airline industry across APAC
  • Proven team leadership and ability to manage revenue, cost targets, and budgets
  • Strong stakeholder management, including senior internal and external relationships
  • Skilled in managing change, ambiguity, and competing priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated success in growing revenue and business performance in competitive markets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools, with strong cross-cultural collaboration skills
