Job Description

Takeoff with your next opportunity  

We now have a rare opportunity available in the role of Head of Pricing & Revenue Management for our Australia and New Zealand Operations, in addition to our Jetstar Branded Airlines in Japan and Singapore.  Reporting directly to our Executive Manager, Commercial Planning, you will act as a crucial member of the Broader Jetstar Leadership Team, whilst delivering exceptional people leadership to a team of PRM managers and analysts as to optimise pricing, inventory, and revenue generation initiatives, ensuring alignment with Jetstar's commercial objectives and compliance with industry regulations and ensuring our capability is world-leading.

As Head of Pricing & Revenue Management, your focus will include: 

  • Defining and driving the overall pricing and revenue management strategies across the Jetstar Group, inclusive of all domestic and international flying across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore.  You’ll focus on maximising and optimising revenue performance, whilst protecting key strategic market position
  • Collaboration with key teams, such as Sales and Ancillary, on pricing activities and initiatives – ensuring a focus on maximising and optimising revenue performance, whilst protecting key strategic market position
  • Development and implementation of our pricing strategy, as to obtain the highest possible revenue through optimum price offerings to all market segments
  • End-to-end accountability for building and delivering an industry leading best practice Revenue Maximisation team, including maintaining a significant pipeline of enhancements
  • Leading our market strategy and performance analysis, including generation of competitor insights, evaluation of new and emerging market trends and informing regular commercial performance reviews and improvement plans
  • Delivering strategic leadership and business process improvement, including the delivery of a strategic PRM roadmap, with a particular focus on innovation through data science, systems and technology
  • Providing exceptional people leadership to a team of experienced managers and broader team of analysts, with a focus on succession planning, engagement and achievement of performance goals.

About you 

Where searching for someone who:  

  • Brings extensive experience in leading revenue management initiatives across multiple regions and business units, with a focus on optimizing pricing, inventory, and revenue generation strategies
  • Demonstrates experience in digital transformation projects, leveraging advanced technologies to drive transform business outcomes and enhance operational efficiency
  • Has strength in leading change management programs, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations 
  • Holds significant experience in a global context within e-commerce or commercial pricing disciplines, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes 
  • Is proficient in utilizing data science and analytics to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Has a genuine passion for people leadership, demonstrated through significant management experience and success in leading and developing a management team
