Join us during an exciting period as we welcome more state-of-the-art aircraft, launch new routes and continue our mission to help more people take off through low fares.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Network Analyst to support the optimal route/aircraft deployment to fly the right aircraft, to the right places, at the right frequencies, at the right times to optimise profitability, operational reliability and customer outcomes. In this role, you’ll deliver top quality analyses to ensure the right information is presented at the right time, balancing robustness, accuracy, and flexibility. Your ability to manage competing priorities proactively and deliver insightful, timely recommendations will be essential to driving our network deployment strategies and tactical decisions in complex markets.

The successful candidate will conduct detailed analyses across a range of strategic areas, including network deployment, process reviews, budgets, and network growth or reduction business cases. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to optimise the allocation of capacity to routes, ensuring our network delivers on its performance and growth objectives. If you’re passionate about aviation, data-driven decision-making, and delivering results that make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

The core responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Support decisions on capacity settings to align with long-term strategic objectives and maximise profit.
  • Implement and measure network strategies to drive annual profit growth.
  • Engage commercial and operational teams to gather inputs and deliver comprehensive analyses.
  • Incorporate considerations like airport charges and government grants into business case analyses.
  • Work closely with airline partners and holding group airlines (e.g., Qantas).
  • Analyse historical data and forward modelling to predict seasonal demand trends and profit opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date, efficient modelling techniques that balance accuracy, flexibility, and speed.
  • Build templates, shortcuts, and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and problem-solving.

To be considered, key skills will include:

  • Globally recognised university degree, with a preference for qualifications in business, finance, commerce, or engineering.
  • Professional experience preferred; airline industry experience highly regarded.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures (not necessarily limited to professional settings).
  • Proven ability to analyse multiple data sources, build complex quantitative connections, and extract relevant insights to inform hypotheses and recommendations.
  • Strong capability to incorporate diverse qualitative and strategic inputs to support high-quality decision-making.
  • Balanced risk appetite, with a willingness to take measured risks and apply learnings to improve future outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, get to the core of issues quickly, and work diplomatically across cultures with international stakeholders.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a high-pressure, dynamic business environment with evolving challenges and priorities.

This role also requires our team members to be willing and able to travel within Australia and internationally.  In return, a flexible and hybrid working environment is on offer to the successful applicant.
