As the FRMS Support Officer, you will support the Senior Fleet Safety Advisor & FRMS Manager in maintaining and developing the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS). You’ll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, analysing fatigue-related data, and promoting best practices in fatigue risk management across Flying Operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that policies and governance comply with regulatory standards
  • Managing the scheduling, presentation preparation, analysis and compliance for the Flying Operations Fatigue Management Working Group
  • Collecting and analysing fatigue-related data to inform policy and roster enhancements
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in biomathematical modelling (SAFTE-FAST)
  • Supporting assurance activities including audits, SPI tracking, and change management
  • Contributing to FRMS safety promotion through the development and dissemination of training materials and educational content

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications or industry experience in fatigue risk management or aviation human factors
  • Experience in biomathematical modelling (preferred)
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including a confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and facilitate meetings
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and planning capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail as to ensure quality outcomes in a timely manner
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
